Rotary International endorses the Rotary Rose ParadeFloat, but Rotarians in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean donate all of the money to pay for the float. 

Approximately ninety three percent of the money raised goes directly into building, decorating and entering the float in the parade. The other seven percent pays for raising the money. None of the money raised for float construction is spent on professional staff or committee perks.

The Rotary Rose Parade Float Committee, Inc. is a non-profit, 501c(4) corporation, tax ID No.95422538.  Individuals and companies should consult their tax advisor about the deductibility of contributions.
