Our Rotary Rose Parade Float Design Committee met with Float designer/builder Phoenix Decorating Company. After an award winning 2017 float with “Most Beautiful Float Under 35 Feet” trophy, we may have another award winner. Rotary International President Ian Riseley’s theme of “Rotary-Making a Difference” is nearly the same as the Tournament of Roses theme “Making a Difference”. We gave them our thought and felt they have a good handle on another great design.

Joe Ramos was the program at the Rotary Club of Twenty Nine Palms and spoke on the Rotary Rose Parade Float. A small but active club, the members donated $120. In turn I gave Club President Vala Stults a Committee hat, Float patch and pin.
